The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) has an immediate opening for a Senior Law Clerk (SLC).  This position is responsible for providing investigation and litigation support to the ODC’s attorney staff.  This position reports to the Deputy Disciplinary Counsel.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.    Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on relevant case law, Board Reports, Court rules, D.C. Bar rules and statutory authority. 2.    Draft memoranda on the law and facts applicable to the various aspects of the cases the ODC is handling before the Board on Professional Responsibility (BPR) and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals (DCCA). 3.    Attend virtual, in-office, and offsite meetings with assigned a
