The Chicago office of Chapman and Cutler LLP is seeking to hire an Information Systems Analyst to join its Information Services Department.  The Information Systems Analyst will support the Chief Information Security Officer and the Senior Manager of Technical Operations. The position will serve as a technical resource operating information security related applications, tools, and methods to help identify and mitigate risk within the Firm’s systems and network. The  Information Systems Analyst will also be exposed to a wide array of modern systems and technologies.  The position requires an in-office presence but includes flexibility for some remote work.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Information Systems Analyst include:

• Responds to client security assessment questionnaires
• Conducts regular phishing awareness training exercises
• Oversees cybersecurity training and compliance
• Performs vendor risk reviews
• Conducts information security audits
• Oversees information security support tickets and vulnerability remediations
• Oversees Windows workstation management and compliance
• Troubleshoots and performs service requests for voice and network issues as needed
• Manages the Zoom Phone telephony system
• Oversees the assigning and provisioning of new meeting, phone, and fax accounts as needed
• Assists with the prioritization and triage of Technical Support and Security Support tickets
• Provides hands-on on-site support in the I.S. department as needed
• Assists the Information Security and Technical Operations with other related tasks as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience.  Prior law firm experience preferred.

• Working knowledge and understanding of information security best practices, technologies, enterprise computing standardization, systems integration, and networking
• Understanding of basic application integrations and management
• Strong organization, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Attention to detail, and independent follow-through
• Ability to perform as an effective, positive team member in a professional environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with information technology professionals
• Flexible, adaptive, multitasking skills for working in a dynamic Information Systems department
• Demonstrated judgment and discretion in working with sensitive information and confidential matters
• Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Technical experience with Windows, Mac OS X and iOS devices (Chapman has a fully Mac workstation environment)
