We are a small law firm dedicated to the representation of both detained and non-detained immigrants. Our firm's practice consists of immigration before the EOIR and BIA: applications for asylum, withholding of removal, relief under the Convention Against Torture, SIJS, Waivers of inadmissibility, naturalization, marriage-based immigration petitions, etc.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Advise clients regarding recommended strategies for the optimal resolution of their cases.
Maintain communication with clients throughout their immigration process.
Prepare clients for Master and Individual court hearings.
Represent clients in Master and Individual court hearings.
Revision of Freedom of Information Act requests to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
Prepare client applications and petitions using computer software.
Maintain applications, records, and all required documentation according to procedures; submit in a timely fashion.
Maintain and increase up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and policies through daily reading (e-mail list serves, publications) and participation in webinars, staff meetings, and periodic training.
Perform other related duties as assigned with little to no supervision.
Must have a valid bar license to practice.
At least 3 years of immigration experience.
Strong writing, verbal communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to serve clients in a professional, welcoming, and efficient manner.
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to learn technical and legal information.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
